I have chosen these photographs because like Jane Brown photograph there is a contrast between land/water and the sky, which draws your eyes to where they meet and its gives the illusion that it is on going.
Analysis;
The composition of the photograph takes the viewer's eye and with the two tones of blue draws it into the middle. This also affects the depth of field which appears large.
Foreground; darker blue sea
Middleground; Land
Background; lighter blue clouds
Like Jane Brown's picture this image makes the viewer feel like they are alone and all the other life is in the middleground. Even though the image is in colour the tone still affects the image as it is the same as Brown's image which is darker at the front and gradually gets lighter towards the back.
There is low contrast lighting as the image is mainly made up of blues and doesn't have opposite colours.
The camera is at a direct middle angle as there is the same amount of sea and sky in it.

Analysis;
The composition of the image catches the viewer's eye as it is a simple urban image of rooftops. However, the different textures and colours make it something more complex and comparing to Jane Brown's image there is still the essence of the image never ending.
Foreground; grass
Middleground; houses
Background; faint building and sky
This has a higher contrast of lighting but not the highest as the colours aren't that sharp and they blend together.
This image is a middle angle shot as there is equal amount of land and sky so neither one of them dominate the photograph.

Analysis;
The composition of the photograph causes the viewer's eye to follow the bend in the road in the foreground of the image, which leads to the middleground of the houses.
Background; The layers of trees lead the viewer's eye to beyond, connoting that it carries on.
Due to the daylight, the focus of the foreground is more contrasted to the faded background.
This shot was a low angle to get the bend in the road, this was also to link this bend to the Jane Brown's image which has a railing which leads you from left to right, where as this leads you from the top to bottom.

Analysis;
The composition of the photograph means the views can clearly see the boat in contrast to the buildings behind out of focus. The darkness of the blue in the water is reflected by the blue in the clouds which are seemed to be pushed away from the boat. This relates to Jane Brown's image as her image was dark with more focus on the foreground to the further back buildings.
Foreground; Sea and boat
Middleground; land and buildings
Background; sky
There is not much high contrast, even though there is some contrast the colours all tie together and make the image work.
The camera angle is a high angle shot making the buildings seem further back and to capture the the darkness in the clouds.
